Taj Exotica, Goa - A Review - Resort, Rooms, Around the Property - PART 1

This is not a paid review, i just want to share this, because the days when i stayed in this resort is one of the best.

Goa was one of my dream destination to visit. I have been asking and begging hubby to take me there and his reply will be "PATIENCE". Last few months have been very hectic for us, finally we decided its time for a vacation and where else we would go other than goa. He booked all the things through his trusted tour company

I gave him all the planning parts, the one thing which i insisted is, " I wanna relax and not explore". The time which we planned was off season in goa, so there is nothing much to explore. So he and his friend who was working in that tour company decided to book " Taj Exotica, Goa". The company people told us,"guys once you enter the property, you are never gonna come out". And i strongly agree to that.

Since i took tons and tons of pictures, i am keeping this review as two posts. This post is going to be all about the property, rooms and resorts. In my next post i will be sharing about the food.

Below is few pictures of the lobby. Such an elegant and a charming one. It clearly shows the royalty we are going to explore inside. The workers are very friendly and charming too.

It is a 56 acres of lush gardens at Taj Exotica in Benaulim, South Goa, where time slows to a tropical tempo. The sea view, old-world charm, flowery patios and glorious atrium of the hotel allow you to experience pure relaxation.

We booked a Sunset Villa Rooms with Personal Plunge Pool and it was love at first sight. The room was lovely too. I personally loved the colour choice for the room, it was very pleasant.

This is the entrance way to the room. There is a walk in wardrobe on the left and bathroom in the right.

A place to just relax or enjoy the pool view or just watch TV.

Maha was sleeping when we checked in, but i have to take a picture of the bedding, so..

TV is located in such a way, where you are turn it around. So you can either watch it from bed or from the pool.

Another couch to relax, seasonal fruits are filled in that bowl. It was mangoes when we checked in.

These kind of lamps are placed all around the room. It looks lovely during the night, very pleasant.

I couldn't capture the wall drawings properly through my camera. But in real it looks lovely, it definitely adds a nice decoration to the room. And seeing this, i told hubby that we are gonna create something like this in our house too.

They have a wardrobe where the coffee station and fridge is located.

This is the most adorable and breath taking washroom. Loved the marble basin so much. The lightings and other things operated on sensor, like when we step into the bathroom the lights would be on..COOL HUH!

COMPLIMENTS..

Wall tiles..I specially loved the bathroom faucets, it was pretty royal and rich ones.

An outdoor shower is located, right after the bathtub..

A cute pool with a breath taking view..

Thats my baby!

It was monsoon season when we dropped there, so the climate was a little humid. One problem which we faced was some water seeping through the walls which made our floor little wet. But the room service was extremely helpful, they will drop by as soon as we ring and clean it to perfection for us.

These are some pictures around the property..

This is their main pool..

This is picture of one of their restaurant Eugenia, they have few more dining restaurants as well..Will share the food pictures in my next post..

This is outside view the restaurant..

This is the restaurant.

They have their own beach area too..

They have a separate kids area which they call as TEX KIDS. Maha enjoyed a lot over there. They had a separate gym and spa, i missed to take pictures of it.

Overall, my experience in Taj Exotica in Benaulim, South Goa was extraordinary, I strongly recommend you to visit there, if you want to take a break from your daily life.
