Preparation Time : 10 mins
Marinating Time : 4 hours
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Nattu Kozhi / Country Chicken - 500 grams
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tblspn or to taste
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice or Vinegar - 4 tblspn
Raw Papaya Paste - 2 tblspn (optional)
Oil for deep frying
For Grinding:
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tblspn
Cinnamon / Pattai - 2 piece
Ginger - 4 cm piece
Garlic - 8 cloves
Method:
Take grinding ingredients in a blender and puree them.
Take all ingredients in a bowl except oil and mix well.
Leave it to marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
Now heat oil for deep frying, drop chicken in and fry for 3 mins on high heat. Now reduce the flame and cook for 10 mins till chicken is cooked.
Drain and serve.

heat oil in a pan, drop chicken in. Fry on high heat for 3 mins, now reduce the heat and cook for 10 to 12 mins |
