This is the spicy sandwich which i made today and it turned out yum. It has a white sauce added to it to give a creamy texture to it and worked well. It tasted so delicious as well..

Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves: 3 sandwiches
Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Bread Slices - 6
Chicken Breast - 1 boneless cut into thin strips
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Oregano - 1 tsp
Cabbage - 1 cup sliced thinly
Bell Peppers - 1 sliced thinly ( i used red, yellow and green)
Oil - 2 tblspn
For White Sauce:
Butter - 1 tblspn
All Purpose Flour - 2 tblspn
Milk - 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for couple of mins.
Add in oregano and mix well.
Add in veggies and season with some salt and pepper. Cook for 4 to 5 mins. Set this aside in a bowl.
Heat some butter in the same pan, add flour and roast for a min, add in milk and cook till it thickens, add salt , sugar and pepper to taste.
Now add veggies in and mix well.
Take bread and fill with this, cover with another bread and toast till golden on both sides.
Slice and serve.

i used my homemade wheat bread |
spoon some filling in |
top with another slice |
toast them in a pan with little oil |
flip and cook |
remove and serve |
